Sheffield Botanical Gardens
As the greenest city in England you are never far from one of more than 200 parks, woodlands or gardens. Many of our parks and woodlands form part of the Sheffield Round Walk (booklet from good Sheffield book stores and Sheffield Scene - (0114) 273 1723).

The Peace Gardens is an award-winning public square at the centre of the city. Set against the backdrop of the Victorian Town Hall, spectacular fountains, water features and lawns make this an oasis for locals and visitors alike.

The Winter Garden is a stunning green world in the heart of the city and we are very proud of its architectural splendour. It is the largest temperate glasshouse in any European city centre.

The Botanical Gardens are a haven of peace and tranquillity offering stunning collections of trees and shrubs set in a historic landscape created in 1836. The stunning glass pavilions have been restored and house an exciting temperate plant collection.

Graves Park and Animal Farm and the Shepherd Wheel in Whiteley Woods are just a few of our other Parks and Countryside.
