There are many advantages to using the BWS, including:
- Bloglines acts as an RSS cache, thereby solving the
'RSS bandwidth problem'.
- All data returned by Bloglines is well-formed RSS 2.0 or OPML,
meaning developers don't have to worry about supporting multiple
syndication formats.
Develop Applications Using Bloglines
There are many uses for the BWS:
- Desktop aggregator developers can use
these calls to sync aggregators across multiple computers, while at
the same time giving their users access to the most full-featured web-based
aggregator available
- The BWS can be used to develop more advanced
notifiers
- Feed and subscription data can be incorporated into blogs and
other information resources

(at home or at work), and are subject to our Terms of Service.
You may not automatically re-publish content from these feeds on a
commercial website. All services require an existing
Bloglines account. We reserve the right to disable access to external
applications and accounts at any time.
