Wikipedia:Upload
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
- Note: This page is for uploading images and multimedia to the English Wikipedia and the Wikimedia Commons. Please go here to ask image and media questions, or here to upload an image if you don't have an account. To add a new article, please see the Article Wizard. You can also find where to ask any question or experiment with editing.
Are you uploading a free image or media file? Please consider uploading it to the Wikimedia Commons through this form or with help of direct links below.
Items uploaded to the Commons can be used on Wikipedia and elsewhere, helping to create a central repository of free images and multimedia. If you have a unified login (help), you can use it at Commons.

- Already have an {{information}} template ready? (For instance, generated by the Flinfo tool?) Use the basic upload form.
See also the full list of copyright tags for many nations. The first section of that page also has other general tags for public domain sources.
Don't want to upload your image to the Wikimedia Commons? Use the links below that will take you to local upload here on the English Wikipedia.
However, please note that uploading free content to Wikipedia is deprecated, as it only can be used locally and not in other language versions of Wikipedia or other Wikimedia projects.
