Rihanna's tour rider revealed; Lindsay Lohan tests negative for alcohol; Katy Perry banned men from saucy video shoot

Rihanna's tour rider revealed

Rihanna demands animal print decorations in her backstage area ahead of every show - and bans sequins from her dressing room, according to the singer's tour rider.

The "Umbrella" hitmaker is currently touring the world with her Last Girl On Earth shows, and a list of her backstage demands has been obtained by TheSmokingGun.com.

The rider reveals Rihanna asks for animal print cushions and a throw rug to decorate her dressing area, as well as vases of white tulips and lavender roses.

The singer also requests an "ice-blue" color scheme and "no sequins" on any of the pillows or sofas, and most importantly the bathroom must be "spotless" and the toilet given a "deep clean."

Lindsay Lohan tests negative for alcohol

Lindsay Lohan had not been drinking when her alcohol-monitoring bracelet went off earlier this month - tests have confirmed the actress was booze-free.

The "Mean Girls" actress was ordered to wear the SCRAM device in May after missing probation hearings related to drug and drunk driving arrests.

The anklet began flashing during an MTV Movie Awards after-party in Los Angeles on June 6 and a judge issued a bench warrant for Lohan's arrest. The warrant was recalled when the actress posted extra bail money, and she insisted she had done "nothing" to trigger the bracelet.

And now Lohan's story has been confirmed after a urine test taken at the time of the alert proved there was no alcohol in the star's system, according to her attorney Shawn Chapman Holley, who confirmed the news to E! Online.

A source tells the website, "They did a urinalysis through Medtox labs and it was indicated conclusively that there was no alcohol in her system at that time. She... just got report back and it was negative."

Lohan is due back in court on July 6.

Katy Perry banned men from saucy video shoot

Katy Perry banned all heterosexual men from the set of her "California Gurls" video - because she didn't want them to see her naked.

Russell Brand's fiancee strips down in the new video, which sees her lying nude on cloud of cotton candy in one shot, while covering her chest with cakes in another.

And Perry made sure it was a closed set on the day of filming - except for girls and gay men.

She tells MTV News, "The cotton candy clouds! I was naked. It was really fun to do. We had to do like a closed set because we didn't want anyone seeing anything.

"You weren't allowed (on the set) unless you were a girl or you're gay; I think that's probably like the standard for all girlfriends. Anyways, I was really excited to do something like this and really nervous. But it turned out (okay)."

Bret Michaels & Miley Cyrus perform together in Central Park

Miley Cyrus and Bret Michaels shut down New York City's Central Park on Friday morning when hundreds of fans turned out to watch the pair play a free concert.

The recovering Poison frontman rocked the crowd with Cyrus, teaming up for a new rendition of his band's hit "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" during a live performance on "Good Morning America."

The performance was part of Michaels' rock comeback after suffering a series of health crises, including a near-fatal brain hemorrhage in April.

Explaining her decision to cover the song, Cyrus, 17, said: "My first concert was Poison. ('Every Rose Has Its Thorn') is my mom's favorite song. I did this song mostly for my mom."

Michaels used the opportunity to praise the teen, insisting he was thrilled to perform the reworked track with her, while he also stepped forward to defend the former Disney star, who has attracted controversy over a string of raunchy performances.

Michaels said, "She's a great musician and she has a great soul and she can sing and she's one of the people who will make that huge transition into being a superstar."

Chris Rock used Courtney Love as protection from Jude Law

Chris Rock escaped the wrath of Jude Law after he mocked the actor while hosting the 2005 Oscars, because his table was guarded by Courtney Love at the after-party.

The controversial comic appeared to upset the Brit's "All The King's Men" co-star Sean Penn when he took aim at Law during his monologue, asking, "Why is he in every movie I have seen in the last four years? Even if he's not acting in, if you look at the credits he makes the cupcakes or something."

Penn was not amused and he rebuked Rock's comment when he presented an award later in the evening, telling the comedian, "Forgive my lack of humor... Jude Law is one of our most talented actors."

But Rock ensured he was safe from Law's disapproval at the post-Oscars party at Los Angeles' Chateau Marmont hotel, by sitting next to Hole rocker Love.

He tells Total Film magazine, "I saw him (Law) at Chateau Marmont afterwards and he might have been looking over at my table, but I'm not sure. I was sitting with Courtney Love and she was being very Courtney that night. She kept saying things like, 'I wish he would come over here.' Courtney is the best bodyguard you could have."

And Rock admits he's still baffled why his comedy remarks caused so much fuss: "I never said he was a bad actor, I just said that he was in everything. I hope one day somebody appears on the Oscars talking about the six movies I just starred in. I'd be over the moon."

Death threats ruined M.I.A's pregnancy

M.I.A. has revealed she received death threats while she was pregnant with her first child Ikhyd over comments she made about her native Sri Lanka.

The outspoken hitmaker, who is the daughter of a Tamil separatist, was targeted online by people who didn't agree with her views - and some comments were really distressing because they also targeted her unborn baby.

M.I.A. tells online newspaper the Huffington Post, "People were sending me death threats and telling me bad s**t about my kid. People would write on Twitter and YouTube, 'Your baby is going to die,' because I was talking about the Sri Lankan government and the issues that were going on there."

But M.I.A. has always felt as if her life was spared during a frightening encounter when she was eight so she could speak up for Sri Lankans.

She explains, "I just saw something when I was eight and they didn't kill me. I am alive to say this is what happened... I survived it and I'm going to tell you my account of it, just like Jewish people get to talk about the Holocaust and we embrace it.

"Even though I had all this amazing success, at the same time I was watching this crazy destruction going on over there. No one really wanted to talk about it and then all these people were reaching out to me to talk about it because I am the only one that can represent them. At the same time I was pregnant and I didn't want to have to deal with that s**t, but I had no choice."

Sarah Jessica Parker is reportedly looking to move house - she has been spotted viewing a massive $24 million townhouse in New York.

The "Sex and the City" star, who already owns several properties in the city, recently admitted her current home in Manhattan is "bursting at the seams," but vowed never to relocate to "the suburbs" even though there would be more space for herself, her husband Matthew Broderick and their three children.

Parker has now sparked rumors the family is preparing to move to a larger home in Manhattan after she was seen checking out a huge nine-bedroom house in the trendy West Village.

The $24.9 million property also has nine bathrooms, 10 wood-burning fireplaces and is situated on the same block where Jimi Hendrix once lived, according to New York Daily News.

John Mayer hails Taylor Swift as 'fabulous' songwriter

Rocker John Mayer hailed Taylor Swift's lyrical prowess at the Songwriters Hall of Fame on Thursday by insisting her huge success is "no accident."

The Grammy-winning country sensation was honored with the Hal David Straight Award, an accolade given to promising young songwriters, for her work on hit tunes like "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me."

And the 20 year old was given the ultimate praise by Mayer as he introduced Swift to the stage to present her with the award at a celebratory dinner in New York.

He told the crowd, "She's no accident. You could put her in a time machine in any era and she would have a hit record. Don't confuse everybody loving one thing as hype. Sometimes that's everyone agreeing that it's fabulous."

The 2010 Songwriters Hall of Fame inductees included Jackie DeShannon, David Foster, Al McKay, Earth, Wind & Fire's Maurice White and Leonard Cohen, who received a standing ovation when he stepped on stage to accept his honor following k.d. lang's rendition of his classic "Hallelujah."

Cameron Diaz opens up about teenage years

Cameron Diaz has revealed more about her past, specifically her first sexual encounters and the time she spent modeling in Japan at 16.

In a candid new Playboy interview, the actress admits she lost her virginity "to get it over with" and then felt "the gates were open" to her - and she went wild when she first left home to model.

Asked if she had already been with a guy before her first real boyfriend, video director Carlos de la Torre, who she hooked up with while modeling in Japan, Diaz says, "Yes! Oh my God, no - I don't want my mom to know. Actually, f**k it. I had already had sex.

"I had a lot of encounters that weren't 'going all the way' but were fun and made me very enthusiastic and excited about the possibilities.

"Japan was great. I had my own apartment. I met somebody I ended up hanging out with. It was amazing to be young and free and have all those experiences."

John Goodman staying healthy after 400 pound shock

John Goodman is committed to keeping his weight down because he was tired of "breaking the furniture" as a 400 pound big guy.

The actor showed off a slimmer new look during an appearance on "The Late Show with David Letterman" on Wednesday night, and spoke candidly about his weight loss battle.

Goodman blamed years of heavy drinking and overindulgence for packing on the pounds.

The former "Roseanne" star explained, "I hit it (alcohol) pretty hard for 30 years and there was a lot of residual damage... I'd get off of 'Roseanne' every spring, I'd lose 60 pounds... Then I got too fond of the barley corn (beer) and then I'd just screw everything up, so then I'd gain it back and then some, every year."

But when he started tipping the scales at 400 pounds, Goodman knew it was time to take a drastic life and diet change.

He embarked on a weight loss program and he's motivated to maintain his smaller waistline, joking, "I was breaking furniture, for Lord's sake!"

The 58 year old admits it will be a fight he will always face, but he's committed to staying healthy: "(I'm) getting a lot of exercise, I feel great."

Eminem's kids keep him sober

Rapper Eminem credits his three children with inspiring him to kick his drug addiction and stay sober.

The hip-hop star, who has been sober for 18 months, has dedicated his latest album "Recovery" to kicking his addiction to painkillers and anti-depressants.

He tells the New York Times, "I used to get pills wherever I could. I was just taking anything that anybody was giving to me."

But Eminem insists his sobriety came without the help of a rehabilitation facility: "I felt like Bugs Bunny in rehab. When Bugs Bunny walks into rehab, people are going to turn and look. People at rehab were stealing my hats and pens and notebooks and asking for autographs. I couldn't concentrate on my problem."

Instead, he has his biological daughter Hailie Jade and his two adopted daughters, Lainey and Whitney to thank for inspiring his recovery. He adds, "I love them so much, and they've helped me through so many things."

'Blues Brothers' praised by Catholic Church

Classic 1980s film "The Blues Brothers" has been given the official seal of approval by the Catholic Church - the movie has been added to the Vatican's list of must-see pictures.

The music movie, starring John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd, sees the on screen siblings embark on an oddball road trip to raise money for the church-run orphanage where they grew up.

And the heads of the Catholic faith have now praised the movie's spiritual undertones and recommended it as a "Catholic classic," according to the Vatican's official newspaper L'Osservatore Romano.

"The Blues Brothers" joins films such as Mel Gibson's "The Passion Of The Christ" and "It's A Wonderful Life" on the Catholic Church's list of recommended movies.
