The owners of Nopa have turned their talents to Mexican food, adhering to the same high standards using organic and sustainable products. They make their own masa for the tamales and craft a super quesadilla with blue corn tortillas, braised greens, jack cheese and queso fresco. The restaurant, located next to Falletti Foods, sports a casual interior that features tables crafted from one felled tree. Covered seating overlooks the parking lot, and there's a takeout window for a quick meal of slow food on the go. There's cheaper Mexican food to be found, but for the quality Nopalito is a bargain.
Specialties: Carnitas; house-made masa; posole.
Open 11 a.m.-10 p.m. daily.
