Sugar Bowl Ski Resort in Norden is only a three-hour drive from San Francisco, making it one of the most convenient resorts for Bay Area skiiers and boarders. The mountain has 84 trails and five high-speed quads serving four different mountain peaks.

Sugar Bowl is located within the Tahoe Basin which boasts the highest concentration of ski resorts and winter activities in North America and also offers a variety of dining and nightlife possibilities. Ski and snowboard lessons and rentals are available. The 7,000-square-foot Mountain Sports Learning Center has ticketing, lessons, and rentals under one roof. Childcare is available for children ages 3 through 12.
