The U.S. Air Force awarded Pratt & Whitney a $65 million contract to provide maintenance for F100 engines powering F-16 fighter aircraft from various international F100 customers, including Egypt, Jordan, Taiwan and Thailand.
F-16 demonstrated enhanced networked-enabled capabilities during the U.S. Air Force's Joint Expeditionary Force Experiment 2010 (JEFX 10), April 13-23, at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada.
L-3 Communications announced today that its Link Simulation & Training division has been awarded a $20.9 million contract option on the F-16 Mission Training Center (MTC) program. This contract option, received from the Aeronautical Systems Center at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, brings the total contract value on the program to $109.1 million.
Sypris Electronics announced today that it has been awarded an estimated $6 million in follow-on orders by Honeywell to produce electronic assemblies for the F-16 Digital Flight Control Computer (DFLCC).
Boeing has been awarded a U.S. Air Force contract worth approximately $69.7 million for the initial engineering, manufacturing and development of QF-16 Full Scale Aerial Targets to replace the QF-4 fleet.

Egypt places order for 20 F-16s

Egyptian Air Force selects F100-PW-229 EEP

The U.S. Government’s Foreign Military Sales program has announced that the Pratt & Whitney F100-PW-229 Engine Enhancement Package (EEP) engine has been selected by the Egyptian Air Force to power their new fleet of F-16 Block 52s.
Herley Industries, Inc. announced that it has received a contract valued at approximately $1.4 million from an international customer to produce microwave modules for the APG-66 radar used in the F-16A/B
