F-16 units deploying to Langley AFB

Air Force officials announced Thursday that Joint Base Langley-Eustis will host two F-16 units which will deploy to Langley Air Force Base over the next two months.
The first retired F-16 Fighting Falcon arrived at Boeing's Cecil Field facility in Jacksonville on April 22 to begin conversion into a QF-16 aerial drone.
The 8th Fighter Wing tested its flying and maintenance operations during surge operations on May 17.

Luke AFB welcomes RDAF

About 100 members from the Royal Danish Air Force fighter wing deployed to Luke Air Force Base recently for a month long F-16 combat enhancement training mission.
Captain Ryan "Rider" Corrigan is the F-16 Viper East Demo Team pilot. Before the Thunderbirds fly, he will be performing at ShawFest this weekend.
Pakistan's air force soon will upgrade its 30-year-old fleet of F-16 Fighting Falcons, and the pilots charged with flying more capable fighters are ready to handle the new technology after training with the Arizona Air National Guard.
The 132nd Fighter Wing held its twelfth change of command, Saturday, May 1. Colonel Mark Hammond transferred command to Colonel William DeHaes in a ceremony held at the 132nd Fighter Wing, Iowa National Guard, Des Moines ANGB.

Spangdahlem F-16 drawdown to begin

Six F-16 Fighting Falcons will depart Spangdahlem Air Base April 27, the first step for the 52nd Fighter Wing in the Combat Air Forces Restructuring plan.
