This weekend will see the Dutch circuit of Zandvoort stage the 20th running of the Masters of Formula 3, an event which boasts the fact that eight of its winners have gone on to clinch Formula 1 drives.

Masters of F3 was first staged in 1991, won by David Coulthard before the Scot made his F1 debut for Williams three years later, and runs alongside the Macau Grand Prix as one of the most prestigious events in single-seater motorsport.
Due to noise restrictions in the vicinity of Zandvoort, the race switched to Belgium's Zolder track in 2007 and 2008 before making a welcome return to the Low Counties as Finland's Valtteri Bottas stormed to victory last year.
