The realtime computer system detected and located five small earthquakes in the Long Valley Caldera area since the last update at 2:00 PM on the 1st. Four were located in the south moat of the Caldera and the fifth was in the Sierra Nevada south of the caldera. All had magnitudes less than M=2.0.

The realtime computer system detected and located no earthquakes in the Long Valley caldera area since the last update at 11:50 AM on the 2nd.

Updated at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, January 4:

The realtime computer system detected and located one magnitude M=1.9 earthquake in the Sierra Nevada west of Round Valley since the last update on January 3.

The realtime computer system detected and located two earthquakes in the Long Valley caldera area since the last update on January 4. Both events were located to the south of the caldera in the Sierra Nevada. The largest was a magnitude M=2.0 ~5 km (3 miles) south-southwest of Toms Place. Elsewhere in the region, a magnitude M=2.3 earthquake was detected on the eastern shore of Mono Lake ~ 23 km (14 miles) east-northeast of Lee Vining.

No update on Friday January 6.

The realtime computer system detected and located five small earthquakes in the Long Valley caldera region since the last update at 9:00 AM on the 5th. All were located in the vicinity of Grinnell Lake in the Sierra Nevada south of the caldera (10 to 11 miles SW of Tom's Place). All had magnitudes less than M=2.0.

The realtime computer system detected and located just one small earthquake in the Long Valley caldera area since the last update at 9:15 AM on the 7th. This was a M=1.3 event located in the Sierra Nevada near Grennell Lake (11 miles SW of Tom's Place).
