The realtime computer system detected and located one small (M=1.4) earthquake in the Long Valley caldera region since the last update at 9:20 AM on the 4th. The event was located in the south moat, approximately 4 km (3 miles) east of Mammoth Lakes.

A magnitude M=3.1 earthquake at 1:55 AM on Tuesday the 6th was located 0.8 mile SW of Mount Morrison. In addition, four smaller earthquakes (all M<2) occurred in the Sierra Nevada south of the caldera since the last update at 9:00 AM on the 5th.

The realtime computer detected and located two small earthquakes in the Long Valley caldera region since the last update at 8:05 AM on the 7th. Both were located near the epicenter of the M=3.2 earthquake of 1:55 AM on the 6th in the Sierra Nevada 1.7 miles south of Laurel Mountain (8 miles SE of Mammoth Lakes).

The realtime computer detected and located five small earthquakes in the Long Valley caldera region since the last update at 9:30 AM on the 8th. All were located in the Sierra Nevada south of the caldera. The largest was a M=2.8 earthquake at 1:23 PM on the 8th located in about 1.7 miles south of Laurel Mountain (8 miles SE of Mammoth Lakes).

The realtime computer system detected and located no earthquake in the vicinity of Long Valley caldera sice the last update at 8:30 AM on the 9th.

Elsewhere in the region, nine small earthquakes occurred in the Adobe Hill area east of Mono Lake and in the Chalfant Valley area north of Bishop. All had magnitudes less than M=2.0.
