The realtime computer system detected and located one magnitude M=0.9 earthquake in Long Valley Caldera since the last update on December 11. The event was located in the south moat at the eastern end of the town of Mammoth Lakes.

The realtime computer system detected no earthquakes in Long Valley Caldera region since the last update on December 12.

The realtime computer system detected no earthquakes in Long Valley Caldera region since the last update on December 13.

The realtime computer system detected only one magnitude M=1.1 earthquake in Long Valley Caldera region since the last update on December 14. The event was located in the Sierra Nevada south of Toms Place.

The realtime computer system detected and located five small earthquakes since the last update at 11:00 AM on the 15th. All were located in the Sierra Nevada south of the caldera. The largest was a M=2.5 earthquake at 1:26 AM on the 16 located 1 mile south of Grinnell Lake (12 miles SW of Tom's Place). This earthquake was followed by three small aftershocks over the next two and a half hours.

The realtime computer system detected only one magnitude M=1.3 earthquake in the Long Valley Caldera region since the last update on December 16. The event was located 19 km (12 miles) north of Bishop.

The realtime computer system detected only one magnitude M=1.6 earthquake in the Long Valley Caldera area since the last update on December 17. The event was located inside the caldera at the east end of the town of Mammoth Lakes. Elsewhere in the region, a magnitude M=1.7 earthquake was detected east of Lee Vining, on the eastern shore of Mono Lake.
