Katy Perry's pregnancy warning to pushy bosses
Katy Perry has threatened her record label bosses, claiming she will get pregnant if they refuse to cut back on her busy work schedule.
The "I Kissed A Girl" hitmaker is adding the finishing touches to her second album, "Teenage Dream," which is slated for release in August.
But Perry has warned she is struggling to cope with her hectic work life - and insists she could scrap plans for a promotional tour by having a baby with fiance Russell Brand.
She tells Britain's The Sun, "I've told them (label) not to p**s me off and if they continue to push me harder, I'll just get pregnant. I have the power to have unprotected sex!"

Russell Brand vows to stay faithful to Katy Perry
British funnyman Russell Brand has vowed to remain faithful to Katy Perry after the two marry.
The "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" star is set to wed the "I Kissed A Girl" hit maker in October following a whirlwind romance.
Brand recently admitted he used to be so promiscuous he had a "team of experts" who would select women for him to have sex with, but the comic is adamant he has turned his back on his Lothario ways to become a monogamous married man.
He tells Britain's The Sun, "Yes, you have to be (faithful). That's one of the things about this institution of marriage. My wife recently explained to me, 'You must be faithful' and I don't have a problem with that. I'm really, really in love.
"There is certainly a compromise. You just can't maraud through life f**king whoever you'd like -- which is a shame, because I wish I actually could do that. That's the compromise."

Katy Perry: 'I'm not getting married in India'
Katy Perry has dismissed reports she and fiance Russell Brand are to wed in India, insisting pal Rihanna had her facts wrong when she recently revealed all about the big bash.
Rihanna recently told Los Angeles DJ Ryan Seacrest she was struggling to come up with ideas for the "I Kissed a Girl" singer's Indian-themed bachelorette party, and let it slip that the couple was planning to return to the place where they became engaged at the end of 2009 to exchange vows later this year.
But, appearing on the same radio show on Monday, Perry insisted Rihanna was "a little confused."
She said, "I heard a rumor that someone dropped where we were getting married on a little radio program... I haven't told her where we’re getting married. She thinks we were getting married in India."
Perry refused to offer any clues about where she and Brand would be exchanging vows, but revealed it would be a "location" ceremony.
She coyly revealed, "I think it's better to take people out of their comfort zone and mesh the group together."

Russell Brand and Katy Perry planning week-long wedding
Russell Brand and Katy Perry are planning a week of wedding celebrations in October - their nuptials will stretch over seven days.
The British funnyman proposed to the singer on New Year's Eve during a romantic trip to India, and the couple is rumored to be planning to return to the country to marry later this year.
The couple has now reportedly sent out 'Save The Date' cards to their friends and family, and one of the invitations has been obtained by Britain's News of the World tabloid.
The card, which features a picture of Indian henna hand art, urges guests to "Save The Week for the wedding of Katy and Russell" from October 18 to 25 and reveals attendees "will need a passport." The invite also states guests "will be contacted soon with more information."
Perry has stated the couple is planning a "small" wedding, insisting she doesn't want the ceremony to turn into a "drunk fest of people."
She tells the publication, "We don't want it to be a drunk fest of people, just one night and then forgetting about it. We want it to be about love. The wedding will be small. I always have a ton of people around me and I think the people that are going to share this moment with us are the people we want to integrate into each other's lives."

Katy Perry has topped the list of sexy stars on Maxim magazine's annual Hot 100 countdown.
The "I Kissed A Girl" hitmaker, who is engaged to British funnyman Russell Brand, fought off tough competition from "Transformers" leading lady Megan Fox, "Avatar" stunner Zoe Saldana and singer Rihanna to top the coveted annual poll.
Also featured in the top 10 are Brooklyn Decker, Blake Lively, Elisabetta Canalis, Olivia Munn, Kim Kardashian and Marisa Miller.

Katy Perry asks Rihanna to plan her bachelorette party
Katy Perry has heaped the pressure on best pal Rihanna - she's asked the "Umbrella" singer to organize her bachelorette party.
Rihanna was in the throes of announcing her summer tour with Kesha when Perry dropped the bombshell and gave her pal the task of coming up with a wild bash to celebrate her upcoming wedding to British funnyman Russell Brand.
During an interview with Ryan Seacrest, the R&B; star says, "She put that on me last week and now I have to come up with something cool 'cos she's getting married in India, so I'm like, 'OK and now what do I do to match that for a bachelorette party?'"
But she has a bit of planning time: "That's at the end of the year, so we've got some time to plan that."

Katy Perry has nicknamed her fiance Russell Brand "bridezilla" because he's addicted to reading wedding magazines.
The "I Kissed A Girl" hitmaker became engaged to the funnyman on New Year's Eve after he proposed during a romantic vacation in India.
Perry admits her new album has taken priority over planning their wedding - but insists Brand has been doing enough research for the both of them.
She tells MTV News, "I have to plan my (new album) first and then I'm going to get to my wedding. But I'm really excited about that, too.
"He (Brand) is a total bridezilla. He's like a freak, man. You should see - he's always, like, buying bride magazines. Every time we go out for breakfast, he's like, 'Can we just stop and get a bride magazine?'"

Katy Perry is excited about releasing her next album - because she can't wait to compete with Lady Gaga and Rihanna in the pop charts.
Perry is preparing to release a follow-up to her mainstream debut, "One of the Boys," later this year, and is reinventing her image and sound to keep up with her contemporaries.
And the singer insists it's time for her to mature as an artist, admitting her pop persona can be "annoying."
She tells Nylon magazine, "(The new music) is still fun, but it's a bit darker. It's not as annoying. Sometimes I feel like a big strawberry with a face on it. If you do something over and over again it's like Chinese water torture. If it hits your head enough times, you want to die. You have to just evolve.
"(In the pop industry) you've got Gaga, who's like, from outer space; you've got KeSha, who's the beer-drinking, house-party girl; and then you've got Rihanna, who's transforming the urban world into her own outer space. But I feel like you're missing an Alanis Morissette, in 2010. I love how she was a voice for a lot of people who couldn't explain their feelings. But it's not like I'm not gonna compete. I love a good dose of healthy competition. It's not going to be the same that they're doing."

Katy Perry thanks water bottle for Russell Brand union
Katy Perry began her romance with Russell Brand at last year's Video Music Awards (VMAs) in New York City in a bizarre way - she threw an empty water bottle at his head.
The "I Kissed A Girl" hitmaker and the British comic have been dating ever since they ran into one another at the event in September - and they recently sealed their union by becoming engaged.
Perry has revealed the unusual technique which helped land her man - and admits her aim was crucial to help break the ice.
She says, "I threw an empty water bottle at his head across Radio City Music Hall at the VMAs and it hit him straight in the head and I said 'Hiiiiiiii!!' And from then on it's always been like 'Oh God...' So thanks, empty water bottle."
And the singer, who accepted Brand's proposal during a New Year's trip to India, is adamant she's in no rush to exchange vows with her funnyman fiancée.
She adds, "We love each other and we desperately want to be with each other, so we're going to take it as we come. I think the right time will be the right time."

Katy Perry and Russell Brand are set to share their romance with millions of movie fans - the singer has made a cameo appearance as the funny man's love interest in his new film.
The singer has been dating Brand since September and is now engaged to her lover after he proposed on New Year's Eve during a sun-soaked vacation in India.
And Perry has revealed she's already put her passion for the star on tape, with a brief role in Brand's latest comedy film "Get Him to the Greek."
She tells Britain's Glamour magazine, "When he was filming 'Get Him to the Greek,' I did a cameo with him. My scene called for me to make out with him. And on the way down the stairs after the scene, I was hopping like a bunny. I hop like a bunny when I'm happy -- I get a bit childlike."
