Version: Trend Micro AntiVirus plus AntiSpyware 2010
Pros: there are no pros
Cons: Another program that won't unintstall.

Pros: No Pro's whatsoever does whatever any other Anti-Virus is capable of. Easy to un-install, is that a PRO?
Cons: Trend Micro AntiVirus came pre-installed on my computer. The trial had not even run out when my IE and all other internet related programs through Windows stopped working (excluding my P2P programs still worked).
Summary: An anti-virus program that disables your Internet Explorer and allows P2P to continue while making it completely impossible to find a solution to fix if you do not have another computer. While browsing for IE stopped working is an endless journey I w... read more

"IT CAME PRE-INSTALLED, SO?....."
Pros: It does work quietly in the background. Updates itself on a regular basis.
Cons: To Slow to scan even "quick scan". Interface fonts to small.
Summary: The ease of use is worthless. There are to many options for settings, exceptions, etc. that aren't clear, and you have to go searching around inside subfolders to find what you need to use in order to allow one of your programs to bypass Trend. It's... read more

"It didn't make me a happy camper."
Pros: It is nothing special.
Cons: When it is doing it's thing it uses everything your computer is capable of. You have to interrupt the scan even to just do some word processing. It is awkward to use, and i had firewall problems with it when trying to load new programs.

Pros: Installs from a disk
Cons: Resource HOG. Slows your boot up to a crawl. Company does not honor rebates in a worthy manner.

"THE WORST ANTIVIRUS I'VE EVER USED!"
Pros: Is capable of Identify most of the really common viruses.
Cons: Absolutely useless and an utter waste of money if you're unfortunate enough to buy it. This antivirus is THE WORST antivirus I've been unfortunate to use.

Cons: Once installed, it never goes away. Will slow your system way down with un-needed testing.

"Low protection against Viruses & malware"
Pros: None,Microsoft Security Essentials,Avira ,Avast and AVG all free and better .
Cons: Trend Micro Antvirus + Antispyware always comes bottom end for detection of Viruses /spyware indepent test results,even the firewall on the more expensiveTrend Micro Internet Security 2010 scored a poor 27% in leak tests.
