Women's water polo shocks in NCAA first round

Lions upset UCLA 5-4 to advance to semifinals.

After struggling all season against top-ranked team, the women’s water polo team chose just the right moment to break through.  The sixth-seed Lions made a statement with their 5-4 win over the three-seed and five-time defending national champions UCLA Bruins in the first round of the NCAA tournament in San Diego, Calif.   Full story
