The Loyolan reserves the right to edit letters for clarity and brevity—concise letters have a greater chance of being printed. The Loyolan will not print anonymous letters, letters written under a pseudonym, letters written by contributors to the Opinion section or those which are hostile, malicious or libelous as determined by the editorial board. All letters are also subject to verification.

Print Submissions
If you prefer to submit your letter through traditional means, "Letters" may be mailed to:

Letters may also be faxed to 310.338.1901. Our office is located on the second floor of Daum Hall. The deadline for letters is 12 p.m. on Friday for Monday's issue or 12 p.m. on Tuesday for Thursday's issue. Authors will not be notified as to whether or not their letter prints.

Online Submissions
Letters & comments may be sent through the "Letters to the Editor" through e-mail at letters@theloyolan.com. The deadline for letters is 12 p.m. on Friday for Monday's issue or 12 p.m. on Tuesday for Thursday's issue. For your letter to be considered for publishing, letters may be no more than 300 words. Additional requirements are listed for Online Submissions for Letters to the Editor and Article comments are available on the Online Policy page.

Letters that fail to meet these requirements will NOT be published or deleted without notice.
