LOS ANGELES – Tiger Woods' ex-paramour Rachel Uchitel is not the reason "Bones" actor David Boreanaz admitted this week that he cheated on his wife, she told the News.

Uchitel, the velvet rope vixen at the top of a long list of Woods mistresses, broke her silence to say she's upset her name surfaced Monday in connection with reports Boreanaz confessed his infidelity to thwart a mistress demanding money.

"I'm livid," Uchitel told the News. "I'm cutting my vacation short to come home and deal with this."

She's expected to speak publicly tomorrow or Thursday, TMZ.com reported.

Star Magazine reported in October that Uchitel had a romantic relationship with Boreanaz while his wife of eight years was pregnant last year.

But the "Bones" actor, 40, was referring to a different, unidentified woman in his recent People.com mea culpa, multiple sources said.

Both women have retained well-known attorney Gloria Allred, adding to the confusion.

Boreanaz's attorney Marty Singer told TMZ that Boreanaz came forward after Allred tried to get a six figure settlement for the new mistress.

Allred said she simply called Singer on her client's behalf after Singer called the woman.

"We discussed the possible resolution of my client's legal claims against Mr. Boreanaz by mediation," Allred said in a statement. "My client has not told her story to the press, but now that Mr. Boreanaz is attacking her she has decided to tell the story of their relationship, so that the truth will come out."

Allred didn't explain her client's legal claim, but Singer told TMZ the mistress was upset because Boreanaz allegedly promised they were "exclusive," even though he's married.

The new woman left a threatening message on the actor's voicemail April 23 demanding money, Singer claimed.

Allred didn't say when the new woman would speak but rushed to Uchitel's defense.

"Neither Rachel Uchitel, nor I as her attorney, have made any claims against David Boreanaz, nor does she have any intention of doing so," Allred said.
