  • Mega Monster Battle: Ultra Galaxy Legend The Movie (Blu-ray) (English Subtitled) (Japan Version) Blu-ray Region A Konishi Hiroyuki | Tsuruno Takeshi | Miyano Mamoru | Igarashi Shunji
The 2009 silver-screen entry in the Ultra Series franchise, Mega Monster Battle: Ultra Galaxy Legend The Movie is the first of the series to feature an Ultraman villain. Kurobe Susumu from the original Ultraman and Moritsugu Kohji from the original Ultra Seven return to join the Ultraman coalition, as do Tsuruno Takeshi (Dyna), Sugiura Taiyo (Cosmos), Igarashi Shunji (Mebius), and Minami Shota (Ultra Galaxy). Popular seiyu Miyano Mamoru voices new hero Ultraman Zero, and former Prime Minister Koizumi Junichiro himself voices the all-powerful Ultraman King! Directed by Power Rangers producer Sakamoto Koichi, Mega Monster Battle: Ultra Galaxy Legend The Movie is mainly set in the Ultramen homeworld so battles are not restricted by the three-minute timer, making the fight against the dark Ultraman all the more exciting.

After thousands of years of incarceration, evil Ultraman Belial breaks out of prison and steals the Plasma Spark, causing everyone in the Land of Light to freeze except Ultraman and Ultra Seven. He then uses the Giga-Battlenizer to unleash 100 Ultra Monsters against the remaining Ultra Warriors and throw the galaxy into darkness. An Ultraman team that includes Dyna, Mebius, Leo, Reimon, and new arrival Ultraman Zero gear up for the ultimate face-off against Belial.

Blu-ray Edition comes with a booklet (press-sheet-size version), plus audio commentary, previews, music video, and other extras.

  • Bandage (DVD) (Deluxe Edition) (First Press Limited Edition) (Japan Version) DVD Region 2 Akanishi Jin | Iwai Shunji (Producer) | Kitano Kii | Kora Kengo
No stranger to the depiction of music in film, Love Letter and All About Lily Chou-Chou director Iwai Shunji co-wrote and produced Bandage, a drama about the Japanese music world. Originally a radio drama written by Iwai and author Kan Chika (who also wrote the novel), the film marks the directorial debut of Iwai's longtime music producer Kobayashi Takeshi, who also produced the music in the film. Also making his film debut is KAT-TUN's Akanishi Jin, who plays the charismatic lead singer of a rock band during the 90s band boom. The heart of the story, however, lies in Asako, the devoted manager of the band played by rising actress/singer Kitano Kii (who also starred in the Iwai-produced Halfway). With its great creative team and hot young stars, Bandage was one of the most anticipated Japanese youth films of 2010, breaking the film studio's record for the number of advance tickets sold for a live-action film.

One day, high school student Asako (Kitano Kii) is invited to go to a concert by indie band Lands. Almost immediately, she falls in love with both the band and its lead singer Natsu (Akanishi Jin). By chance, she becomes the band's manager, and she quickly discovers how little glamour there is working in the music business, despite becoming friends with Natsu. When the band decides to leave artistic integrity behind for fame, will Asako's loyalty to the band - and Natsu - be compromised?

  • Assault Girls (DVD) (English Audio) (Special Collector's Edition) (First Press Limited Edition) (Japan Version) DVD Region 2 Oshii Mamoru (Director) | Kuroki Meisa | Kikuchi Rinko | Saeki Hinako
Ghost in the Shell director Oshii Mamoru takes on live-action for the first time in eight years with the sci-fi action film Assault Girls. A continuation of his shorts in the omnibus films Kill and Shin Onna Tachiguishi Retsuden, Assault Girls stars hot young actresses Kikuchi Rinko (Babel), Saeki Hinako (Trick), and Kuroki Meisa (Crows Zero) as three butt-kicking warriors in a post-apocalyptic future. Fans of the director will immediately recognize his traits: deliberate pacing, cerebral storytelling, and a haunting score by Kawai Kenji. Similar to Miike Takashi's Sukiyaki Western Django, Oshii decided to shoot most of Assault Girls in English - a major challenge to his stars (and possibly to his viewers).

In a virtual world called Avalon, four warriors - Gray (Kuroki Meisa), Colonel (Saeki Hinako), Lucifer (Kikuchi Rinko), and Jager (Fujiku Yoshikatsu) - band together to fight a giant sand monster destroying the world. They discover that there's only room for one survivor in their world, and they must play by the rules.

2-DVD Special Collector's Edition comes with making of, sound synchronization data, press conference, stage greeting event, cast interviews, Q&A;, a special short film starring Oshii Mamoru, trailers, TV spots, a 92-page storyboard booklet, and a 16-page production booklet.
