Actress Lynn Redgrave died Sunday night at the age of 67 after a seven-year struggle with breast cancer.

Lynn Redgrave of England's premier acting family - who earned Oscar, Emmy and Tony nominations - died Monday after an eight-year battle with breast cancer. She was 67.

Redgrave was the sister of Academy Award winner Vanessa Redgrave and aunt of Natasha Richardson, who died in a skiing accident last year.

The Redgrave clan includes Natasha's sister Joely Richardson and widower Liam Neeson.

On April 6, Redgrave's brother Corin, also an actor, died at age 70.

Her parents, Sir Michael Redgrave and Dame Rachel Kempson, began acting in the 1930s. Lynn attended London's Central School of Speech and Drama before making her entrance to professional stage at 20.

She debuted on film in 1963 in her brother-in-law Tony Richardson's Best Picture-winning comedy "Tom Jones."

The following year, in "Girl With Green Eyes," her screen persona - a vivacious, unlikely ingénue - took hold. In 1966, those qualities helped her nab a Best Actress Oscar nomination for "Georgy Girl."

She soon cultivated an image as the fun, free-spirited Redgrave after Vanessa and Corin embraced political activism. She played Xaviera Hollander in 1975's "The Happy Hooker" and became a spokeswoman for Weight Watchers.

In 1999, she received an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress for "Gods and Monsters."

On stage, Redgrave was Tony-nominated three times, most recently for "The Constant Wife" in 2006.

Throughout her life, Redgrave - who had an apartment in Manhattan and lived in Connecticut - was unafraid to share her personal dramas, from her dad's neglect in her 1993 solo play "Shakespeare for My Father" to her mastectomy, in a 2004 memoir.

Speaking with the Daily News last year, Redgrave called her autobiographical work a way of "linking hands" with her famous family.

"When I'm onstage," she said, "even though I'm alone, it doesn't feel like the stage is empty."
