Dick Advocaat will be introduced as the new coach of Russia’s national football team in the next 30 days, Sovetsky Sport newspaper reports.

The Dutch specialist and the Russia’s Football Union are set to sign a two year deal, with the 62-year-old being in charge during the Euro 2012 qualifying campaign.

Dick Advocaat is familiar with new RFU president Sergey Fursenko, as the two used to work together in Zenit St. Petersburg.

According to the paper, Advocaat, who is under contract with the Belgian team at the moment, will hold talks about its dissolution on his own and after reaching an agreement with Russia.

Alexander Borodyuk and Bert van Lingen, who helped the coach in the final stage of his Zenit career, are to become his assistants.

The Dutchman has yet to comment on the information.

Dick Advocaat is one of the most successful foreign coaches to have worked in Russia. During his rule, Zenit claimed the home league title, the UEFA Cup and UEFA Super Cup.

Russia’s previous coach, Advocaat’s countryman Guus Hiddink, left his job after failing to qualify for World Cup 2010. He has already been introduced as the new boss of Turkey.
