A portion of each sale from the inter-galactic theme night will benefit Phoenix Suns Charities

The Phoenix Suns will journey to "a galaxy far, far away" with a Star Wars-themed game when the team takes on the Houston Rockets. "Star Wars: The Clone Wars Night" will take place Sunday, April 11, at US Airways Center. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m., with doors opening at 5 p.m. (Are you a basketball fan and a Star Wars fan? Then check out these must-have jerseys.)

In partnership with Lucasfilm, the Suns will offer a special discounted ticket package that includes an exclusive Phoenix Suns/Star Wars t-shirt and photo opportunities with classic Star Wars characters. The unique night will also feature in-game Star Wars entertainment, including a "Star Wars on Planet Orange" player introduction video, Suns Dancers in Princess Leia costumes, a Gorilla lightsaber duel and a sneak peek at an upcoming episode of the hit Cartoon Network series, Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

Additionally, all fans attending the game are encouraged to dress like their favorite Star Wars characters for a chance to win official Star Wars merchandise. No masks or weapons will be allowed inside US Airways Center.

"This is going to be a fun night for our fans of all ages, from those who remember watching the original Star Wars film in the theaters in 1977 to those young fans who are growing up with The Clone Wars animated series today," said Jeramie McPeek, Suns Vice President of Digital. "We are very proud to be partnering with such a strong brand, known around the world and throughout the galaxy. The Force is strong on Planet Orange."

A portion of the proceeds from all sales through the special offer will benefit Phoenix Suns Charities, which works to improve the lives of Arizona youth and families. Phoenix Suns Charities is the cornerstone of the team's foundation, making grants to non-profit organizations that serve children and youth in the areas of education, health and human services, the arts, sports and recreation, and rehabilitation. In the 22 years since its inception, Phoenix Suns Charities has donated over nine million dollars to worthy Arizona organizations.

Fans can purchase the "Star Wars: The Clone Wars Night" package at suns.com/starwars. Ticket packages start at $76.
