For ease of management, identical tips and hints for Zelda Twilight Princess will also be on the Wii version page.

The main thing to remember is the worlds of the Wii version are flipped horizontally 180° -- therefore, directions referring to left and right (or east and west) are reversed for Cube.

Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess Tips and Hints (Wii)

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Hint: Sinking Lure
To get the sinking lure after you catch and keep a Pike, Ordon Catfish, and Bass fish, go past the bridge to the left side. Near the water there should be a little brown patch in the shape of a circle. Step on it and face north and manually fish (no boat).

Be sure to not select that lure if you take the boat with the fishing hole keeper on board, or she'll confiscate it and toss it back in the same spot where you can catch it once more.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Hint: Doing the Oocoo Time Warp Again
If you would like to save your game at a specific point in a dungeon, use Oocoo to teleport outside, then save. When you restart, you teleport inside the dungeon to the point where you exited rather than being forced to start at the beginning.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Hint: Enutrof Rellet
If you need a clue, read what the fortuneteller writes backwards.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Hint: Money Loop
In order to get infinite money in Lake Hylia, you have to play Falbi's Flight by Fowl Game. The first time you play, land on the rotating platform for 100 rupees. The next platform has a piece of heart. When you ask to get shot up to the house with cuccos (Falbi's Flight by Fowl), first, use to gale boomerang on the top of the house, make sure to hit the red/orange tiles on the cannon house.

This will net you a red rupee, worth 20 rupees. Then, once you are shot up, do not move to another platform and get to where you can see the wind direction rooster thing and hit it with the gale boomerang, you must z-target. An unskippable cut-scene will show that the chest on the rotating platform has been closed and once again filled with 100 rupees. You can also just save your game and restart for the chest to be refilled.

You can do this as many times as you like for rupees to buy the Magic Armor (598 rupees) and donate money to Malo Mart to fix the bridge and start a Castle Town Malo Mart Branch.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Hint: Hello THIEF
The bird that sells red potion and lantern oil in North Faron Forest can be bilked out of its money. Simply take your merchandise and leave. Doing so will cause the bird to attack Link. At least in Twilight Princess, Link will not die immediately when entering the shop.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Hint: Hylian Loach
To find the Hylian Loach, you need to fish at the fishing hole during the summer. You know it's summertime in the map, because the inside of the fishing hole's shop is summer-themed.

You need to have a frog lure or a sinking lure. Rent a canoe to fish from, but do not take the shopkeeper along since she will take away your cheat lure. The Hilian Loach is the rarest fish in Hyrule and is a whopping 33 inches.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Hint: Balloon Popping
At Lake Hylia, you can play a fruit balloon popping game as a wolf (speak to the bird near the lake cannon) for a heart piece.

Simply go for the 10K high score by popping only strawberry balloons and ignoring the other larger balloons in the way. You should be able to scrape by the 10K mark right before the end of the course.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Hint: Bird Killer
If you want to make some easy money while travelling Hyrule field, take down the flocks of birds. The Gale Boomerang and Z-Targeting lets you drag them close to be killed by a sword strike.

Clearing the flock will cause a reward of about 50 rupee to drop from the sky.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Hint: Hidden Moves and Commands (a.k.a., the Don_Chan)
There're some hidden moves not covered in the manual or the game tutorials.

    1. you can execute a rolling stab by rolling, then quickly slashing with your sword. This move knocks enemies back and allows you to finsh them quickly with the ending blow.

    2. To quickly dismount hold R then press A. you flip off the back of your horse and quickly dismount. This is great when you need to quickly take care of enemys on the ground.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Hint: Peas On You
Bottled water can be poured on growing fruits/vegetables to make them increase in size.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Hint: Magic Armour
If you go to the shop in karioke village there will be a goron inside holding a box he will need 3,000 rupees total to open a better shop and sell the magic armour at a discount but if you wair the magic armour while you finish dorines or the gold man quest he will give you a wallet to hold unlimited rupees.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Hint: Malo Mart and Magic Armor Quest
To reduce the amount of money required to open the Malo-Mart in castle town and be able to purchase the magic amor. Donate 1000 rupees to repair the bridge to the west gate to castle town to the goron inside the Malo-Mart in Kakariko Village.

Then talk to the old goron outside the Malo-Mart. He will send you on a quest to deliver some hot spring water to the goron sitting beside the bridge outside the west gate to castle town. To easily complete this quest. Simply walk along the edge of the cliff until you reach the brige. Then smash the barrel of hot spring water on the sitting gorons head.

After you have done this go back to Kakariko Village and talk to the goron collecting donations inside the Malo-Mart. He will have lowered the required amount to 200. After donating 200 rupees a Malo Mart will open in Castle Town and the magic armor will be available to buy.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Glitch: Infinite Bomb Arrows

  • Step 1: Play the ballon poping game at the grass away from the cannon man, and run into the cliff imedently, tell the bird that you don't want to play again.

  • Step 2: Turn into human and equip the Zora Tunic and clawshot. Step off the platform into the water.

  • Step 3: Turn towards the cliff that is to the left, hold L (or Z-target on Wii) and use the clawshot. Swim to the wall while still holding the clawshot and push into the wall until you go through it.

  • Step 4: Use the iron boots so you sink for a while, then swim up so you fall through the water and appear talking to the bird.

  • Step 5: Tell the bird that you want to try again and you will be in the balloon popping game again.

  • Step 6: Fall into the water again (during the air ride) and you will appear at the start of the canoe ride, turn into the wolf and jump into the water, as soon as you hit the water, talk to Midna.

  • Step 7: Let the current take you down river and you will appear in wolf form in the canoe, but mis-shapen.

  • Step 8: Tell the zora you want to ride again, you will appear in the inside of the canoe ride building. After the ride starts you will not be in the canoe but on the ground.

  • Step 9: Warp to any location and turn to human, and you will have infinite bomb arrows from the "Lent Bomb Bag" and a glitched quiver (requires some fiddling on your item screen).
