Kirsten Powers

Kirsten Powers joined Fox News as a Political Analyst in 2004 and began writing regular political columns for the New York Post during the 2008 presidential election cycle.  She brings a unique perspective to her analysis from her experience working in politics, including serving in the Clinton Administration from 1993-1998 and working in New York state and city politics.   She has a B.S. in Journalism from the University of Maryland and attended the Georgetown University Law Center for a year and a half before being lured to America Online, Inc. in 1998 to serve as their Vice President for International Communications. Her writing has been published in the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, the New York Observer, Elle magazine and American Prospect online.
