Wednesday, March 17, 2010 Forty-four new circuit and district judges representing 52 counties participated in the 2010 New Judges Orientation from March 7-10 in Lexington. The Kentucky Administrative Office of the Courts offered the program for new circuit and district judges.

Wednesday, March 10, 2010 Citizen Foster Care Review Boards in 19 Kentucky counties are in great need of volunteers to make a difference in the lives of local children in foster care. Volunteers are needed to review cases of children placed in foster care because of abuse, dependency and neglect to ensure these children are placed in safe, permanent homes as quickly as possible.

Monday, March 08, 2010 After going five rounds with the competition in the case of United States of America v. Cassius M. Clay, Madison Central High School/Kentucky Tech from Richmond earned the championship title Sunday, March 7, in the 2010 Kentucky High School Mock Trial Tournament. The duPont Manual High School Red Team from Louisville was the runner-up in the tournament.

- 30 high school mock trial teams to argue United States of America v. Cassius M. Clay at state tournament March 5-7 in Louisville
Tuesday, March 02, 2010 Thirty teams of high school students from across the commonwealth will converge in Louisville this Friday to argue the Muhammad Ali case at the Kentucky High School Mock Trial Tournament. The top two teams will compete in the championship round at the Muhammad Ali Center.

Monday, February 08, 2010 A bust of Justice William E. McAnulty Jr. will be unveiled Thursday, Feb. 11, 2010, as part of a Black History Month celebration. Chief Justice John D. Minton Jr. and Gov. Steve Beshear will speak at the event, which is open to the public and begins at noon in the Capitol Rotunda in Frankfort.
- State law librarian among Kentuckians selected to attend national conference on public libraries and access to justice
Wednesday, February 03, 2010 A three-person Kentucky team recently participated in a national conference about how public libraries can improve online access to legal information at libraries. The team was one of the 15 teams chosen to attend the conference out of the 42 teams that applied from 31 states.
