No pressure. Ecuador was not exactly expected to make it to the World Cup, yet it played well under coach Hernan Dario Gomez, finishing above Brazil and Uruguay in qualifying.

Little experience. Actually, make that no international experience. This will be Ecuador's first World Cup, and as much as we like survivor stories, Ecuador may pull off one upset but will then go home packing.
