Housing Move-in 2009

[Sandra Patterson-Randles]
Good morning! We're here at IU Southeast and we're having a wonderful move-in day. This is our second year for housing at IU Southeast and it has been a tremendous success.

[Jason]
Everybody seems to be having a good time. I mean, it's something new, everybody is moving in, having a good time, learning, meeting new people.

[Coreen]
You know, a lot of people were helpful and right on my car, "Hey, can I help you unload?" so it got done quickly.

[Interviewer]
What are you most nervous about?

[Charity]
Being on my - being here by myself.

[Interviewer]
What's dad most nervous about?

[Charity's Dad]
I'm really not because she's a good girl.

[Interviewer]
So before you all came, did your parents give you all any advice?

[John]
Have fun, enjoy yourself I guess.

[Amzey]
Same thing, just don't be stupid, make the right choices. You know what's right and wrong basically.

[Interviewer]
What are you most excited about today?

[Lauren]
Moving out of the house!

[Megan]
And getting everything in here organized.

[Madelaine]
You're excited about that?

[Megan]
To make it all look good, you know what I mean?

[Lauren]
Yeah.

[John]
I'm excited about getting to know people. Like I said, I don't know anybody here so just getting to know people and going to school.

[Adam]
All of my classes are going to be right over there. Let's see, I'm working on campus so I'm just going to be saving a lot of gas.

[Amzey]
Same thing for me. I mean, I live an hour, about an hour and fifteen minutes away. Being close, being uh - you have everything convenient.

[Susan]
So I think we can really get into the campus life and then our studies.

[Kayla]
I lived on campus last year, loved it and had to come back, and I'm living with a CA who was my roommate last year and I'm really excited.

Obviously they had a really great experience last year and the word certainly has spread so we're really delighted.
