Two pet dogs died in the fire at a trailer in Sans Souci Court, Sans Souci Parkway, Hanover Township Fire Chief Jeff Tudgay said. Tudgay said firefighters from Hanover Township and Nanticoke responded to 32 Sans Souci Court believing there were people trapped inside just before 7 a.m. After a quick search of the trailer, Tudgay said, firefighters learned the residence was unoccupied. Two pet dogs perished in the fire, he said. Tudgay said an investigation determined the cause of the fire was a light fixture in a bedroom. No injuries were reported. The fire was under control within 30 minutes, Tudgay said.
