Comets’ Craig seeks second state title NOTES

To say that Evan Craig has been causing havoc for District 2 heavyweights over the last four years would be an understatement.

Just look at his accomplishments: two-time District 2 Class 3A championships, two Northeast Regional Class 3A titles, a PIAA Championship runner-up and a PIAA Championship.

At 36-0 so far this season, the Abington Heights senior is the most-dressed athlete in school history and despite being the reigning state champion, he’s not finished yet and isn’t under any pressure as he is trying to become the first back-to-back state champion from District 2 since Tim Casey accomplished the feat in 1986-87 for Meyers.
