Going global

ALL ALONE is the first international film from India targeted at a mainstream release worldwide. Slated for a simultaneous release in 19 countries through 5200 prints, the $15 million venture is to be directed by Ritesh Sinha and boasts of a multi-country star cast including leading names from India, France and the U.K.

Claire Keim and Elisa Tovati, celebrated French actors will share the screen with Manoj Bajpai, Diana Hayden, Nigar Khan and Bikram Saluja. The film will be dubbed in all major Indian regional languages including Hindi, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Kannada and Malayalam.

The movie will be launched in Paris by May 2005 after extensive shooting in Mauritius. Set in 1963, with freedom just around the corner, the story is about Mauritius in transition. Exploring and highlighting subtle facets of Oliver's love for Jacqueline, Bal's desire for power, Rani's quest for happiness and Michael's passion for music, this Ten Films production is bound to grip viewers with its top theatrical talent.
