His philosophy is haute couture for the body and soul. Zubin Vakil presents Pręt Couture ready to wear hi-fashion for girls.

"FASHION IS just not clothes; it is an attitude. What you are on the outside is a reflection of what you are inside," says designer Zubin Vakil at the exhibition of his ensemble at Montage -- the Arvind Chenji Studio, Begumpet on August 10.
"Fashion is a spirit by itself encompassing flamboyancy and ecstasy," he adds.
Pręt Couture, the new line of ready to wear hi-fashion ensemble for girls (15 years to 25) from Vakil is a resonance to his thoughts with the design philosophy - clothing is not meant to cover the body but to enhance it.
Mostly a denim line, with leather, chiffon, lace brasso, lycra and more -- it is short bold cuts and bright colours for the line, embellished with sequins.

A baby pink and hourglass piece is for the `two of us' occasion, while a cropped top is for the `strictly after 8'.
And there are halter and peek-a-boo skirt in stretch denims, sheath dress, tank top and more. His USP is the custom made single pieces.
"Even when I started off, I wasn't repeating designs," says Zubin a student of NIFT.
"After the course I realised that I already knew it all," says Vakil. "It all began when I gifted an outfit to a friend and the news spread," he says.
Thus he is dabbling in haute couture since 1995.
Fashion for Vakil is an ardour and it is the colours, cuts and fabric that he muses over. "I feel I am a fashion being," he says.
As for the response, he finds a very encouraging market in the twin cities that has the wherewithal to be a fashion capital.
Vakil's ensemble is chic, hip and bright, and the look is fresh.
It is the Mermaid Collection --inspired by ocean and seas reflecting on the expanse and the vivid hues, apart from the Garden of Eden collection for the seasons -- for the ensuing winters.
