In fact, I think I'd much rather play that Sonic than MK: Special Forces or Daikatana.

Sonic as a gaming character is 100% Dead IMO.
The comics by Archie are still AWESOME though :P

At the time 40% of Sonic team was working on Sonic next gen, The other 60% was working on the quite decent Sonic & the Secret rings for the Wii, Maybe if Sonic Team concentrated on just 1 game, who knows Maybe Sonic Next-gen could've be a good game but instead it's the Deformed Cousin of a otherwise decent Wii game.
