    Yah, if all they're adding is one new faction and nothing much else, then I won't buy this. They need to add at least two factions imo to make it buy able (my cash is running low any way..)

    And all I have seen are spotlights on new hero units and Chaos units and heros. I've seen nothing on new additions to the current factions other then as I stated the new hero units.

    So it would be useful to quit making assumptions

    From my understanding there's a few new units, even though I haven't heard about any of them...I know they are adding in 1 new hero unit for each faction, for instance SM gets Librarian Orks get Wierd Boy.

    As for any other units, dunno. I would hope so really, because like I said, if all this expansion is offering is just 1 new faction and really nothing else new to the others, then it's not a big deal in my eyes.

    @ szabilove7: It is stand alone... you just wont be able to play the first three races or campaign. You'll be able to play against them though.

    Are there going to be new units for the other factions? For the Tyranids since there is a space hulk most probably genestealers.

    Needs less nurgle and more Slaanesh.... I'd also like them to add a game mode that brings back the classic DoW1 game play. Sure this squad based stuff is cool and all... but compared to Company of Heroe's it's barely decent and to have any sort of epic combat you need a 3v3 game.. and some of the new maps make tha hard to happen since... They're too huge for the small unit caps. And yeah... the campaign, while having some good ideas.. Pretty much blew. Voice acting was horrible and they ruined Captain Gabriel Angelos's super sexy voice! Eliphas is going to get on the same boat... just you wait.

    I wish that THQ gonna make DOW2 like DOW1 style, u know, building base, making defence, different buildings...
    i dont like this style that u only have few unit without any base or camp and u only got to control them through the map! its boaring!

    I am not going to buy this unless it either gets amazing review and if it is the price of a full game forget about it. DOW 2 took the RTS of DOW 1 a great game BTW and boiled it down into some crap designed for 13 year olds to play. For example, No buildings or fortifications, a gay ass unit cap and finally a small amount of units. To even build marine terminators you have to have pts saved up from combat and normally cant produce them. The single player was very crappy. It was short on missions, voice acting and Cinematics. Sorry but this Game lost the feeling that you were in a giant EPIC battle and has become like a Company of Heros clone. Hey and guess what people its not made like this for any other reason othar than to save some money while milking the awesome Warhammer franchise just like crappy WOW clone Warhammer Online. If you looking for Warhammer Fix I suggest reading some of the great books from the Black Library.

    yah, i looks good but u know its gonna be another squad hit and run type of thing, which if ppl like that, thats cool, but i really really really miss dark crusade/soul storm type of game play, i mean REALLY miss it, i still play dark crusade from time to time but woulda been nice if they didnt gimp DOW2

    Great video. Unfortunately it was completely ruined by the guy who provided the absolutely terrible super cheesy voice-over. Couldnt they have used someone who actually sounds like a space marine like they did in the game itself?

    i hope the game doesn't look as limited as it does in the video
    i hope the added a good variety in units ,classes and races ,as much as i love this game i don't want it to be similar to the last ones

    The singleplayer was outright a horrendous catastrophic puddle of **** compared to the first Dawn of War... never have I witnessed such a shameful copy paste built campaign in a game.

    Wish they'd introduce a campaign ala the first Dawn of War, that would be sweet.

    Who knows really. I'm some what disappointed for multiplayer that all they added for a new race was just Chaos, was really surprised they didn't add in Imperial Guard as well.

    Yet again, here's hoping they fix a lot of the balancing issues in multiplayer.

    Loved the single player.

    Was alright multiplayer, constant balancing issues finally just made stop playing it online.

    Seems as though they are a strong melee force, which means Space Marines are going to get rocked in this expansion...

    I dont know if you guys that liked DoW2 , tried the new DLC. Contains a Last Stand mode which is pretty fun to play with 2 mates.

    Can't wait anymore!! Pretty enjoyed the previous one! Hope this will be even better and no so repeatable through the campaign.
