    what the hell is with this trailer? It SUCKS that's what. This game is a choose your own adventure game mixed with Front mission which is so post to be awesome. This trailer is making everyone not want to buy this game even though it is so post to have the choose your own adventure like shadow of destiny and indigo prophecy. This game will be good but they need to make better trailers

    Complain all you want ... but NIS America has slowly been shipping these sims over ... and you know what ... they are selling.

    So while it looks lame and all, they will probably sell all the copies they print (they don't print many ... that's the key).

    Yeah dating sim with turn based strategy like Front Mission or FFTactics.
    There were many Sakura Wars games before but most of them was only in japanesse. Anime was based on one of this game, not this though.
    Anyway worth checking. Can be fun, but hero is kinda lame and tactical combat dosnt look deep or challenging.

    Yes, it does look rather anachronistic...but who cares? Most anime I've seen over the last 20 years do much of the same general thing. What's up with the narration, though?????

    One of the best role animation play with fun movements and incredibls combos... it will be a great game.... but it looks like a girl game... mmmm

    Yeah. I've never seen the anime, nor have I read the manga, but I do have an old issue of Animerica that had a review of the anime. Or was it Anime Insider? I dunno... Anyways, I think one of those two said that despite the title "Sakura Wars", there isn't much of an actual war going on. Which, to me, means "not much fighting".

    Then again, this game may have more fighting.

    Looks kind of interesting...different. Could be fun. I really enjoy the imagination of the Japanese.

    Well, I was interested in the game, but after watching that video I'm not so sure anymore. Just doesn't seem like I'll enjoy it. Combat seems overly complicated to me. Not going to spend 40 dollars to see if it is either.

    @jayd02: Keep in mind that the game is going to be released on the PlayStation 2 as well as the Wii. That's why the dual analog stick controls in one of those cutscenes are there. I'd imagine that the Wii version would have different on-screen prompts, since it lacks a second analog stick.

    This game does look out dated but it is on the wii so you can't hope for over the top visuals. I'm gonna give it a shot. Whats funny to me is that this game is set in the year 1927 but they have these super advanced mech machines with targeting systems and all haha.
