- Canada's Lambert captures World Cup gold
- Toronto snowboarder Michael Lambert carved his way to his first World Cup gold in a parallel giant slalom event on Sunday in Nendaz, Switzerland. He hasn't made the Canadian Olympic team yet — and has one more shot to qualify on Jan. 24. The win was Lambert's second career podium. He's now ranked 3rd on the World Cup tour, a status that speaks volumes for how much he's progressed. At the end of last season, Lambert was ranked 25th. more »
