Destination Films is Sony Pictures' "niche" film distribution company founded by Brent Baum and Steve Stabler established in 1993 and launched in 1994. The logo is made up of a planet (presumably the Earth) passing the bright sun and two halves of a ring formed at the top and the bottom with a line with a crescent on one end and a star on the other. The site is now offline and redirected to the Sony website. The first film is Fear of a Black Hat.
Since 2001, Destination Films was under control of Sony Pictures Home Entertainment[1]. But Destination Films was taken over by Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions Group in 2007. Since then, Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions Group releases some films under Destination Films' label, like Blood: The Last Vampire[2][3] and Black Dynamite[4][5].
