Atari Anthology is a collection of over 80 Atari, Inc games released in 2003 as Atari - 80 Classic Games in One! for Microsoft Windows, and in 2004 for the Xbox and PlayStation 2. It reproduces both Atari arcade games and titles from the Atari 2600 game console. The Windows version features a slightly altered collection of Atari 2600 games, as noted below. The collection includes extras, such as original arcade artwork and scans of the instruction manuals for the Atari 2600 games, as well as video interviews with Nolan Bushnell, the co-founder of Atari. Many games permit one to play each title at varying speeds, with time limits, or with a shifting colour palette. Some of these modes must be unlocked by reaching predetermined goals in other games. The Windows version also has a few extras, such as desktop themes.
