XMB™ Access In-Game

Change things up on the fly

Pausing the game was only the beginning.

Say you're playing a game. And you need to do something. Send a message, change the music, whatever. Just press the PS button and use the XMB™ to do what you need to do, without quitting the game. It's that simple. XMB™ Access In-Game lets you do all kinds of things.

  • Friends
It was never easier to interact with PlayStation®Network Friends in the heat of a game. Send and receive messages, add new friends or check other player's profiles (including their Trophy collections) to know who you're playing against.
  • Settings
Need to jump into an online game? Change your Bluetooth settings on the fly, so you can use your headset to play online. And adjusting other settings without leaving the game is just as easy.
  • Trophy Collection
Check out your Trophy Collection to see what you've earned to date, or discover which challenge you might want to tackle next.
