DC Comics has previewed the first two covers of Batman: The Return of Bruce Wayne.
The Andy Kubert pencilled covers depict two versions of Batman as he travels through time in Grant Morrison's forthcoming miniseries.
Issue #1 shows a prehistoric Bruce Wayne dressed in Bat-like animal skins and fighting off a tribe of Neanderthals.
The cover for issue #2 depicts a tall hat wearing Batman as a witch-hunter in Puritan America.
The other versions of Batman in the six-part series will be a pirate, a cowboy, a private investigator and Dark Knight.
Batman: The Return of Bruce Wayne follows Bruce Wayne's journey through time after he was hit by Darkseid's Omega Sanction in Final Crisis.
The series will debut in the spring.
