Good to history come alive,I seem to recall that Mr.Ted Bailey who lived in Weston underwood in the 1970's thereabout was a member of 'The Sealed Knot'' and if my memory is correct Ted made a lot of intricate props for his regiment in ''The Sealed Kno.t''

I think I am right in thinking that Ted had sadly to withdraw from Active Service ''with regiment as sadly his eyesight was failing.

Ted was indeed a character and a fount of knowlege concerning the history of the Olney Weston Underwood Emberton and the surrounding area in his old age.

Ted had a brother whose name ascapes me who lived in Newton Blossomvilee and he was as great a character as Ted was,the Bailey brothers together was indeed an exhilarating experience.

This video was taken last May, during the re-enactment of an English Civil War battle, fought on 4th Nov. 1634 nr Olney, Buckinghamshire. The event celebrates the unveiling of a plaque commemorating the lives of those who "Fought and died for King and Parliament", and was inspired by Mr. Edward Ellis, of Emberton. The battle is re-enacted by the "Prince Rupert's Blew Regiment of Foote (Sealed Knot).
