This page was created as the official work in progress page for the unreleased and WIP Sega Model 3 emulator, this page will attempt to track all updates and roughly what's going on with the emulator.This emulator will cover Sega's Model 3 Step 1.0, Model 3 Step 1.5, Model 3 Step 2.0 and Model 3 Step 2.1 Hardware, check the links out for details of the hardware and the games on each variant.For details on what is and isn't dumped (i.e. available to work on) check out Guru's Model 3 dump status page.The emulator will be released when it's done, so don't expect a release any time soon and don't ask about it.It is being written primarily for the amusement of the authors and the goal of the project is to create a playable and accurate Model 3 emulator and when released will be open source, so far, the project is on track to accomplish this.Any official release at its current stage would be pointless because the emulator is still in an extremely preliminary, unrefined, and unoptimized state.The authors are: Ville Linde, Stefano Teso, and Bart Trzynadlowski.Please do not attempt to contact them or me about the project, everything public that is known will be reported on this site and no correspondence will be entered into.If you wish to help the project, please consider donating PCBs to the Guru for dumping.

Just an update for those of you who are wondering what the current status of Supermodel is (as I get a few mails about it)
Supermodel is on hold indefinitely, development is continuing apace but has been moved to M.A.M.E. as it has been deemed to be an easier place to debug the many problems the Model 3 system has thrown in the path of the team.
