Sia - TV Is My Parent (DVD)

Pop - Delightfully quirky Aussie singer and songwriter Sia Furler chronicles her 2007 U.S. tour with T.V. Is My Parent, a new concert DVD recorded at NY's Hiro Ballroom in September '07. Songs are taken from her critically acclaimed 2008 album Some People Have Real Problems as well as from her Colour The Small One album (including the breakout hit "Breathe Me") and versions of songs she recorded with U.K. band Zero 7.
Always unpredictable, Sia's live shows create a circus-like atmosphere with her endearing between-song chatter and some wild imagery -- this time utilizing some garish costumes and black light (pic after jump). But holding things down is her music which seems to find that sweet spot between simply fun and deeply cerebral.
Four music videos from Problems are also included on the DVD scheduled for a May 19 instore: the bizarre and disturbing "Buttons" along with “Day Too Soon”, “The Girl You Lost To Cocaine” and “Soon We'll Be Found”.
