Pop - Psapp make musique concrète, which is to say, music not generated by musical instrum... Hey, where are you going? This isn't some obnoxious atonal banging and bonging, this is Pop! Playful and not at all pretentious, Psapp derive most of the sample sources for their silly songs from found objects - twanging rubber bands, popping corks, thumping empty bottles and cans - and toy instruments, creating giddy, complex soundscapes over which Galia Durant, blessed with the name and pipes of a chanteuse, croons cheery ditties about cats, screws, and homicide. If it all sounds a bit light hearted for you, it just might be. These are no songs for sourpusses, but if you are of a sunnier disposition and tastes we suggest you take a ride on The Camel's Back.
