Sarah Blasko - "All I Want"

Acclaimed Aussie singer/songwriter Sarah Blasko returns with her third solo album As Day Follows Night, set for release July 10th Down Under (U.S. release TBD). Garnering four ARIA nominations (think Aussie Grammy) including Best Album for her 2004 debut album, Blasko shines with elegant songs that are both densely complex and starkly straightforward. New song "All I Want" seems to reflect the chilly Swedish surroundings of the album's recording, at times reminiscent of Anna Ternheim's recent stark musical musings (producer Bjorn Yttling produced both) tempered with some left-of-center Fiona Apple-styled touches. Recommended.
