Paolo Nutini - 'Candy'

Scottish singer/songwriter Paolo Nutini gives us a sweet taste of his forthcoming June 2 sophomore release Sunny Side Up. A slightly more earthy, folk-based tone pervades first single "Candy" along with many of the album's tracks, thanks in part to another stellar production job from Ethan Johns (Ray Lamontagne, Kings of Leon, Ryan Adams) and a backing band and chorus that finds a common ground between ragged-edged Americana and Glasgow pub singalongs.
