Natasha Khan, AKA Bat For Lashes, certainly has a way with smart, arty visual images - not to mention the exceptionaly striking songcraft that's at the heart of her sophomore release. We were reminded, actually, of some of the more interesing "art-rock" trappings of the 70's and 80's (Peter Gabriel in Genesis, David Bowie or Kate Bush) as we checked out Khan's new track "Daniel" from her forthcoming album Two Suns, out April 7. Sure it's a little strange in a Bjork-kind of way but as with her earlier stuff, you just can't look away. The video was shot in Sweden by Johan Renck, who has worked previously with New Order and, not surprisingly, The Knife. More on BFL's Two Suns from DC here.
