Here's a swell holiday recollection of the past year's doofs and goofs and cheaters and crooks and, in general, people who rose above the crowd with Bad Behavior. It's our first ever BB's Bracket Battle! We tried to keep off the truly evil (Bernie Madoff), the redundant (John Edwards and other political cheaters) and the personal annoyances (Charlie Weiss) that more people don't really care about. We thought about including the pilots who couldn't find Minneapolis, swimmer Michael Phelps, Paula Abdul, Serena Williams and others. And we took OFF this list David Letterman. Maybe because he seemed so able to rise above, in a very public way, his personal, private problems, his ratings and popularity have gone up. Not so, Tiger. Or Jon and Kate. Or A-Rod. Or Carrie Prejean, whose answer to Perez Hilton's pageant question about gays was perfectly defensible. Unlike Letterman, what got these people on this list was their transgression AND how they then handled it. Talk about Bad Behavior. Governor Sanford, you went hiking where?

We had over 30 great candidates to start with. Kind of scary, eh?

And the big winner (or in this case would it be big loser?) is, Rod Blagojevich!
