Back to review Nintendo puppy again, the Nintendogs, the interactive pet simulation game from Nintendo. On my last review article about “What is Nintendogs?”, got some comments and many of them are like this game. But some of them stated that “It is interesting but this Nintendodog doesn’t ever replace a real Dog.” Well seems like he/she is really a caring puppy’s person.

On Nintendogs, you can be the pet parent or trainer depends on your choice. And you must name the dogs, care for it, train it, and even pick up the pup yuck… The fun comes from the features which allow you to talk and train your puppy using microphone. Your puppy can understand clear words spoken by you from the handheld game’s speakers.

Well now it’s time to review the game cheats and tips for this Nintendogs game. First let us take a look at the list trainer’s point to unlock Nintendogs.

        Unlimited Walks

There’s a trick to have unlimited walks and get the unlimited items. First you need at least 2 items, draw your walk path to park and pass the “?” areas as much as you can. Don’t forget to get the items while you are walking. Once you make it to the park, change your dog accessories and the game will auto save. After that, restart your Nintendo DS, you’ll have all items you collected before and you’ll also be able to take another walk again.

        Unlock Dalmation

Find the red fireman’s hat while on walk.

        Trick To Get 70 Points

Put your dog in a shower. After shower, make it roll onto its stomach. Place a wire or a brush on your dog’s belly. Don’t move it and you’ll get extra 70 points every ten minutes.

        Dog Technique

        • Teach Sit à Pet the dogs head and then quickly slide the stylus down its nose.
        • Lay Down à While the dog is sitting pet its head and then quickly slide the stylus down its nose.
        • Teach Shake à Grab one of the dog’s front paws and move it up and down.
        • Roll Over à While sitting or laying down push the stylus to the left or right and then push it to the left or right again while it’s on it’s side and then its belly should face up.
        • Teach Jump à If your dog shakes its butt that means it wants to play so tap the air above them and they’ll jump into the air.
        • Teach Beg à When your dog is standing touch its belly and slide the stylus up its neck to get them into the begging motion.
        • Spin à When your dog’s butt if facing you grab its tail and move it to a side and then your dog should then chase after it.
        • Stand à While your dog is sitting or laying drag the stylus from the bottom to the top.
        • Back flip à Make sure that your dog is sitting then tap the air above it for a back flip.
        • Sneeze à Tap your dog’s nose.
        • Break dancing à Make sure your dog is on his back and then grab his tail.
        • Howl à If a police car or an ambulance goes by your dog might howl at it you have to catch the teach button fast though.
        • Hi-5 à After you teach your dog “paw” (aka shake hands) ask it for his/her paw then grab his paw and pull it upwards. The light bulb will pop up and say “hi-5.”
        • Play dead à From the lie down position, move the stylus from one side of the dogs head to the other.

There’re three original versions from Nintendogs when it’s first released, they re Chihuahua & Friends, Dachshund & Friends, and Lab & Friends. Chihuahua is a dog named under the state of Chihuahua in Mexico and it is the smallest breed dog in the world. It’s very thin and small. Unlike the dachshund, dachshund is elongated breed dog, short legged, and sometimes referred to as a “hot dog” dog (very unique to me). The breed’s name is German and literally means “badger dog”. And the last Labrador Retriever that we known as Labrador or Lab is a type of gun dog. It is the most popular breed dog in the world that mostly popular breed by registration in Canada.

Playing Nintendogs just like having your own living puppy inside your Nintendo DS. You can have a digital pet on your DS that allow you to use various items whether it’s found or purchased. This game is utilized DS’s touch screen and built-in microphone. It’s very like you’re already had a real pet; with built-in microphone, you can call your pet’s name using microphone to call them and even to teach them how to sit or roll over.

Make your dog is happy, feeding it and taking it for walks, keep them clean, play with them using many kinds of toys available are your duty on this game. This game is also support multiplayer system. You can trade items with other player through wireless connection. And the interesting part is the “Bark Mode”; if you switched on, your dog will bark when there’s another Nintendog is nearby. It’s very fun right?
