Former NGA Chair Washington Gov. Albert Rosellini Celebrates 100th Birthday
On behalf of the nation’s governors, NGA today honors former Washington Gov. Albert Rosellini as he celebrates his centennial birthday. Rosellini was elected as governor of Washington in 1956, after serving in the State Senate for 18 years. During his tenure as governor, Rosellini established the State Department of Commerce and Economic Development and led the state as it hosted the nation’s first successful World’s Fair in Seattle. Please join NGA in recognizing his many accomplishments as he celebrates 100 years!
