ART Grand Prix announces complete GP3 Series 2010 Line-up

The ART Grand Prix team would like to announce their driver line up for the inaugural 2010 GP3 Championship season. The French based squad will boast three drivers, Esteban Gutierrez, Alexander Rossi and Pedro Enrique to compete in what will be a strong championship that will run parallel to its sister series, the GP2 championship.

The new GP3 series is a promising new championship designed at helping young talented drivers move up through the ranks until finally making the transition across into the pinnacle of Motorsports, Formula One.

After clinching the Formula BMW title in 2008, Mexican racer Esteban Gutierrez performed superbly during his maiden season in the F3 Euro Series where he secured two podiums for the ART Grand Prix team and delivered some first class performances.
Meanwhile, new teammate Alexander Rossi won the Formula BMW America championship and Formula BMW World in 2008, something he followed up by becoming the best rookie in Formula Masters last season.

The third and final driver for the team, Pedro Enrique had several victories to his name in the SudAm championship before graduating to the F3 Euro Series for the 2009 Championship season.

Frederic Vasseur: “We are delighted to be able to announce our full driver line-up so early in the season. We are really happy to be able to count on these three drivers for the first year of the championship. Esteban knows ART GP very well and has done a fantastic job in single seaters and especially with us last year in the F3 Euro Series. Alexander is an extremely promising young talent and Pedro has shown a rare determination during all the tests we have undertaken. I am really confident that we will be able to fight for podiums and wins.”

Nicolas Todt: “The GP3 Series promises to be a great championship and I'm confident it will be thanks to the expertise and experience of the organizers who have already made a success of the GP2 Series. The GP3 Series fits ART Grand Prix's vocation to be involved in the most competitive series perfectly as it is also the best school for the highest level of motorsport. With this trio of quality we think we have all the assets we need to honour our company’s records.”
