James Gandolfini
James Gandolfini has made his mark in a variety of roles in at least 20 motion pictures. He most recently finished shooting Lonely Hearts opposite John Travolta and Salma Hayek, as well as All the King's Men with director Steve Zaillian, starring Sean Penn and Jude Law. In Romance & Cigarettes he stars opposite Susan Sarandon and Kate Winslet, a feature film directed by John Turturro with Joel and Ethan Cohen producing.

Gandolfini is currently shooting the sixth season of HBO's Emmy® award winning drama, The Sopranos where he stars as the series lead, Tony Soprano. His portrayal of mob boss Tony Soprano has brought him three Emmy® Awards and a Golden Globe Award® for Best Actor in a Drama Series. He has also won three Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards, including two for Outstanding Male Actor in a Drama Series and one shared with "The Soprano's" cast for Outstanding Ensemble Cast.

Born in Westwood, New Jersey, Gandolfini graduated from Rutgers University before beginning his acting career in New York Theatre. He made his Broadway debut in the 1992 revival of "A Streetcar Named Desire" with Alec Baldwin and Jessica Lange. He currently resides in New York.
